I am going to be totally honest and here and say that I am biased because I’m friends with a few of these people and by the way, I am so blessed to be friends with them all? You’re all so incredibly iconic.
I absolutely love Gabby’s channel and her videos! She reads a lot of thrillers and NA, and though neither of those are usually my favorite genres, I love seeing what her new faves are; she inspires me to try new genres! I love her What I’ve Watched videos and her love for movies, especially as I’m trying to watch more movies lately. I just think she’s so fun to watch.
I would watch Hannah’s videos as meditative therapy. She is truly such a pure soul and I absolutely love seeing her recommendations. Also, she got me to read The Sun Is Also a Star, and that’s truly iconic and amazing content that I love and adore.
Allie is so funny and her wrap-ups are absolutely awesome; they’re both hilarious and perfectly convey whether the book is for me or not. I adore her love of cats. She gives off this vibe of being sort of tumbling her way through life, but she also seems to have it together on a grand level. I love her and her content.
Okay, first of all, may I just say that Monica’s page is so incredibly aestheticy and gorgeous. I love her layouts and her cover photos and her hair so much. But I also just really love watching her channel; I find it really relaxing? She’s such a good soul but also has amazing recs and some shit to say. We love.

I swear to god Dylan is one of the funniest human beings I know. All of his videos are so delightful even if our taste is really different; he’s just such a fun person to listen. His Shaun David Hutchinson standing is legendary. Oh, also, we’re twitter mutuals as of about a month ago.
Lala actually reads a lot of genres I barely read; she’s super into YA contemporary, adult thrillers, and adult literature. But I do know that I trust her recommendations with my life. She has excellent taste. I love her ridiculous video ideas. I love her bullet-journal-with-me videos. Oh, and her anticipated videos is so amazing.
And I absolutely love Chelsea’s videos and energy so much. She is such a fun person and every time I watch her channel I smile. She has such a good energy and watching her thoughts on every book ever is just so much fun.
Like, we’re twitter mutuals so of course I have to mention Allie, but let me just fully admit: I freaked out when we became Twitter mutuals. I just really love Allie’s taste? She always has such great books to mention. Her Shakespeare meta is amazing. She is a Fellow CalifornianTM. And perhaps most importantly, her And I Darken love is perfect.
Emma has been making videos for years and she’s pretty well known, but she’s genuinely amazing. I absolutely love her wrap-ups and have gotten several amazing contemporary recs from her! Perhaps most importantly, the way she talks about mental health is so open and honest: Emma is so willing to be real and I love her ability to talk about recovery and self-care. All of her video ideas are fantastic. I honestly think she’s so wonderful and just radiates positivity and light. [Also, we’re mutuals on twitter, and I am so blessed and moved by that??]
You might know Sam as the head of the Top Five Wednesday goodreads group. Sam was one of my OG favorite booktubers and I still always go to her for sff recommendations. I love her gush vs. gripe videos; it’s so fun to have an option both for a simple review and a spoilery rant. She’s such a shining light and now that she’s done with graduate school, I’m excited to see more of her reviews!
Another Twitter mutual I screamed over when she followed me. Lea’s fantasy book recs and queer book recs are so amazing and fantastic. Her Schwab content is, obviously, the best. She’s one of the only people on this godforsaken book corner of the web who is aware of our lord and savior Kristin Cashore. And I love her. You should definitely be following.
Adrianna is literally one of my favorite reviewers of all time and I will never understand why they remain underrated. Their reviews are so amazing and articulate on a level I will never be, and they always have something new to say. Their analysis and discussion is fantastic and amazing; I absolutely love their self-reflective tone and ability to look back on books critically while still praising aspects. Even when we disagree, I feel like I got something out of watching their video; some new reason to like the book, some new reason to dislike the book. I need to read more of their recommendations, honestly, because every one I’ve read so far has been perfect.
