August Posts #III // Book Haul, Author Events, and One Thousand Posts I Adored

So since I have a lot of posts now, this has been made into a book haul post, a meeting authors wrap-up, and a list of posts I’ve loved this month. So instead of book hauls only, these wrap-ups function as yet another section of my monthly wrap-up posts! I think this will add a little more dimension to these posts, which I’ve tended to find kind of boring in the past [don’t kill me].

Anyway. They’re not boring anymore!

  1. Hehe, I love you so much. Thank you for the link! Let me know before you pick up In Other Lands… because I’ve been meaning to read it… forever! Also, amazing month love! I hope September is even better! 💖xx

  2. Some of the books you hauled are books I can’t wait to read! Like The Love & Lies of Rukhsana Ali and Last of Her Name! I also read Twelfth Night recently – it’s on the reading list for a class and I’m trying to get a head start by finishing some books before college starts.

  3. Thank you! ❤

There are ARCs of The Cerulean and The Last 8 already! 2019 seemed so far away when they announced them. I'm curious about The Cerulean because of that premise, but knowing how YA usually goes, I wouldn't be surprised if it were a "introduce a boy!" story. I hope it's not, it needs to be at least a little gay. And of course I want to read The Last 8 (it has allosexual aromantic rep! I really hope it's good).
Also I had never seen a physical copy of Like Water before, but that spine is so pretty!

    1. yeah oh my god, I am SCARED that Cerulean is going to go that direction. I hadn’t actually heard about that in Last 8 – I remembered hearing that she was bi and a-spec but those specifics are!! yes!!

and yes, Like Water is so gorgeous. I feel like I just need to stare at it on my shelf.
